- WORKPLACE BEYOND · EQUALITY WITHIN ScrollABOUT Inno · MISSION & VISION
A healthy and just society.
— tested one workplace at a time.
Problems do not arrive at Inno as policy language.
They arrive as —a call a missing wage a failed complaint a rejected application a health label used as exclusionEverything this organisation believes was learned from answering.
Our mission is one sentence — every word in it is a choiceJointly we fight workplace injustice and inequality with vulnerable communities.
Four choices. Scroll through each one — the pictures inside the letters are our own workplaces, unretouched.
CHOICE 01 · WHO DECIDESJointlyWe do not work alone, and we do not speak over communities. Workers, local resource networks, civil society partners, workplaces, brands, funders, researchers: the word is a commitment about who decides, not just who attends.
01CHOICE 02 · A FIGHTING WORDFightChosen on purpose. It does not mean hostility; it means we are not neutral observers of injustice, and we do not merely describe it. Where workplace systems produce silence, exclusion, stigma, violence or failed remedy, we act to overturn the arrangement — not to soften its description.
02CHOICE 03 · NOT ABSTRACTIONSWorkplace
injusticeNot abstractions. Concrete arrangements: recruitment, contracts, hours, wages, dormitories, complaint channels. Arrangements distribute risk, opportunity, voice and remedy unequally — and, because they are arrangements, they can be redesigned.
03CHOICE 04 · MANUFACTURED, NOT INNATEVulnerable
communitiesNever a label we put on people. Vulnerability is manufactured: it is what happens when someone is placed where rights are harder to reach, voices are harder to receive and remedy is harder to use. Change the placement, and the vulnerability changes with it.
04Why the workplace? Because that is where "is this society just?" turns into questions with timestamps —
08:02 Was the wage paid?11:47 Was the complaint answered?14:15 Was the door open?23:58 Was anyone punished for speaking? For Inno, the workplace is not a project site. It is where rights, responsibility, power and remedy land.
01We begin from the field.
Problems arrive as people and situations, and that is where we start — a grievance mechanism workers actually use is the rarest object in supply chains, and we have run one since 2007.
02We work with people, not just issues.
Communities are not weak by nature; they are placed where rights are harder to reach. Our work changes placements, not people.
03We turn service into change.
Hotlines, consultation, field visits, training, research, factory and brand communication are one pathway: from concrete cases to system learning — solved at case level, changed at mechanism level.

Repetition is our instrument: repeated cases, repeated conversations, repeated mechanisms are what let Inno see where rights are cut off — and how remedy can be rebuilt.
"A healthy and just society" is not a horizon we describe from a distance.
It is a wage repaid — and a pay system that stops skipping.
A door opened — and a workplace that learns to keep it open.
A channel that holds the first frightened person who uses it — and then holds the next.Multiplied, patiently, workplace by workplace. That is the whole plan — and we have been on it since 2007.
Inno Community Development Organisation (Inno) is an issue-based civil society organisation founded in 2007. It works inside the workplaces and supply chains of Asia — with workers, vulnerable communities, local partners, workplaces, brands and funders — to identify where rights are interrupted and to rebuild practical routes to remedy.需数据 #1
What is Inno Community Development Organisation?
Inno is an issue-based civil society organisation founded in 2007, working inside the workplaces and supply chains of Asia. It runs worker hotlines and remedy mechanisms, and works with vulnerable communities, workplaces, brands and funders to fight workplace injustice and inequality.
What does Inno's mission mean?
Inno's mission — "Jointly we fight workplace injustice and inequality with vulnerable communities" — means communities decide with us, not after us; fight means acting on injustice rather than describing it; and vulnerability is read as a structural position, not a personal trait.
