No one should have to choose between knowing their health and keeping their livelihood. Fight Hepatitis brings information and support closer while challenging the discrimination that makes seeking care dangerous.

In a remote, multi-ethnic community in southwest China, the work starts before screening. It starts with who people trust, what language makes sense, how far care is, and what may happen inside a family or workplace after someone knows their status.

Travel, cost, family concern, testing fear, privacy and employment consequences can all interrupt the route to care.
03 · Build capacity Put knowledge inside the network.
Develop local-language materials and strengthen volunteers, peers and home-visit relationships rather than parachuting in a generic message.
04 · Keep contact Do not end at information.
Connect voluntary screening information with private choice, understandable next steps, referral and continuing support.
However she moves, the barriers repeat.
For a fellow worker, health information is not a straight road to care. Local distance, interrupted services, fear of job loss and the absence of a safe remedy can return her to the same place. Use the controls to walk the route. Fight Hepatitis works at each point where it breaks.

More than a decade of groundwork · historical programmes and recognition
Behind today's movement stands earlier public-health work, recorded here as history rather than current operations: a hepatitis hotline, TOT training, Knowledge Tote, patient support groups; a Guinness World Record awareness action; a 2015 Stanford Asian Liver Center Excellent Partner Award; membership of two hepatitis alliances; and earlier tuberculosis workplace education.
